So, my UTDR-avoidant saga is coming to an end soon. I beat Undertale.

Was the game good? Contrary to what I thought, it was mildly enjoyable. I found some of, if not all, the puzzles WAYYY too easy, but the combat and bosses were some of my favorite parts of the game. The game was also short and relatively easy to understand.

I like Papyrus. He made me laugh and made the experience enjoyable whenever I got bored. I liked the emotional parts, but they didn’t hit me as hard as other games.

So I’m gonna run through it to get other endings, but for now, my final rating of Undertale in a numerical scale and the Smash Tier system:

A 7/10, and a B- or C+ Tier.

(Edit: It’s fairly high BECAUSE of the music and combat.)

Next up, Deltarune. I have higher hopes for this one.

Somehow I’ve avoided spoilers for the franchise as a WHOLE, INCLUDING Deltarune Chapter 5.

EDIT: I meant I thought they were overrated. I don’t particularly dislike UTDR, but I certainly don’t like it.
