He likes being pushed.

Playtime with the white pidge we have. He is blind entirely on his right side. None of his pinches here hurt, he's always been fond of wing slapping from an early age, he can even do high five with for treats.

Update: Rescued birb

Update from: https://www.reddit.com/r/pigeon/s/cBCkjci2ra

So I've treated the fella for parasites internally and externally. Second internal treatment was about a couple days ago. Nothing additional has shown up. Next external treatment is soon. Once clear they'll be free to go. I've also got a band to tell if they come back.

I've never put a band on em before. This one seems to be aluminum with an open slit. I squeezed it close with my hand after opening with pliers. I left a bigger gap than what it came in. Will this be ok for em?

The fella still pinches and wing slaps but seems ok standing on my hand and will not panic fly away unless I make my hand imposing. Hopefully they haven't lost their survival instincts.

Rescued birb

So not sure if this is the right tag. But my family is currently going through some personal health crisis (unrelated to birds probably) and as such I've been handling our current 5 along with other stuff myself. I've recently stumbled on his fella outside in the middle of a corridor outside. I walked up to them and they didn't attempt to flee. When I tried to pick them up they fumbled around to get away.

I don't think I am capable of taking on yet another permanent resident, and overall the fella seems to have recovered quite well and is still very cautious of humans. I've since picked out 13 louse flies from em, and awaiting an external parasite spray, will treat the fella for both internal and external and again in 2 weeks and release after with a band probably.

I've had em for 6 days so far I think. They've become alot more energetic and now will actually flee the hand and wing slap. No sign of cankers. Pooping well with solid poops.

I'm unsure if I should try to find them a home with someone as they do seem to want to go back out or at least away from humans.
