Lost my job, time for a new beginning?

Hello dear redditers,

I would like to explain my work situation and ask for your opinion and any advice/suggestions.

I am a French teacher and I was working in a school teaching across all the grades. Unfortunately the school closed permanently without any concrete reason and I therefore I lost my job as a teacher.

There is a good point actually about this matter: I wanted to get out of teaching at schools and start another position but most likely in an educational environment.

Alongside, I have my adult French private classes that help me a bit financially but not enough to cover everything. I teach Farsi as well but those classes are very few in a month. My expertise is in languages and I actually don’t have any knowledge in IT or other fields similar, Lol! While having more time now, I am thinking of launching my language school but I am hesitating since I’m unsure of the outcome.

Since the job market is not great these days, the idea of being jobless, for I don’t know how many months, is a bit stressing.

Did you have a similar experience as me or do you have any advices for me to find another job or even is launching a language business may work?

I thank you all in advance for your responses!
