Transmission drain and fill

I recently purchased a 21 with no service history besides what carfax says, which isn’t very much beyond “vehicle serviced: XX,XXX miles”. I’m at 107,000.

I’ve heard enough horror stories about changing transmission fluid after going past the interval, I’m wondering if this is something I should worry about if I go ahead and change it.

Where’s the line for too far past the interval to be at risk of having problems? Or will I just be good to go and am worrying over nothing.

Thanks in advance.

Low valuation

Is there any likelihood my car valuation increases? It was considered a total loss after getting whacked by a semi truck. 2017 Toyota, but 226k miles.

They gave me an ACV of $2600. I disputed it based on them having the wrong vehicle location and wrong options, and provided 5 comparable cars near my area, all of which were listed well above ACV. Also a JD power NADA report, valuing the car over 8000, and Edmund’s at just under 7000.

I doubt it goes up very much or at all, but how likely is it they severely underestimated the value of the car?

Whatever I get needs to be a down payment on something to replace it, or to buy something cheap outright.

I understand the listings for similar cars aren’t really a good go by because dealers inflate prices to profit, but how reliable are the other two reports to push my value up?

Any real tall folks in here?

My Camry was totaled out and I’ve wanted a Tacoma for a while, but I fear I’m not going to fit. I am what some people would describe as freaky tall (6’8). Squeezing into smaller than ideal cars is a thing that I’ve been doing since I was old enough to drive.

I’m looking at 3rd gen extended cabs, nobody is going to fit behind me in a crew cab anyways.

Any other freaky tall folks manage to fit into a 3rd gen?

Please spare me the suggestion of the tundra, I’m looking at those as well but I would prefer a Tacoma over a tundra.
