WHAT A JOKE!!!

Someone stole my identity and opened an Affirm account in my name. I found out because the card appeared in my mailbox yesterday. They have NO SUPPORT number in the paperwork they send out so thank goodness Facebook had a phone number. After spending over 30 minutes talking to 4 different international reps and NOT ONE OF THEM could help me I got fed up and hung up on them as they all kept telling me to do the same thing. When I tried to explain to them that I did NOT open this account and I have no idea what this company even is, they kept telling me to go into my account.

Has anyone had success closing their account for fraud???

The only praise I can give them is they denied all the purchases that the person tried to make because they couldn't verify the identity...

This is one of my main drivers now for my solar system!

“Markets such as Texas, Arizona, and parts of the Southeast are seeing increased interest in solar-plus-storage systems, driven by reliability concerns, extreme weather, and rising costs. In many cases, grid strain—not just high prices—is driving adoption.”

So the first picture is of my Enphase app and showing the consumption and production for that day. As you can see it was a TERRIBLE day as it rained ALL day long. However, because I have a battery system also connected to my house I was still pretty much “dead” to the grid as I was running off of my batteries during the day! See the second picture, that is the data from my smart meter that the utility sees. And then we jump to yesterday May 2nd and EURIKA!!! Running off of sun all day long!!!

If you have solar and batteries in a deregulated market and are NOT on a free night plan you are doing it wrong.

If you have solar only and overproduce by a fair amount, you should still look into a free night plan.
