Results of Political Survey

As promised, the results of the online survey from June 24th-28th.

First of all, thank you to those that took the time to participate in our survey.

Narrative Research had a poll from June 10th-17th with 147 results and 109 votes for political parties (26% were undecided). Of those decided, The Green Party received 54% of the vote, Liberal Party 26%, PC 18%, and NDP 3%.

We had 103 participants eligible for these results (votes from outside PEI were removed for this section of the results), with similar results to the Narrative Research study, The Green Party received 53.4% of the vote, Liberal Party 22.3%, PC 12.6%, NDP 10.7%, and Island Party 1.0%.

We also asked a follow up question, “If you were to vote in a Provincial Election today, which party would you WANT to vote for?”, this question ranked each of the parties.

I found it interesting the amount of people voting against their preferences. I personally believe it's either due to the candidate or strategic voting. Please note: In that graph, I did not bother placing the first place votes with the party they voted for.

Thank you all once again and hope to expand both online and in person for the next time we take a survey.

Quick Survey on PEI Politics

Hi! I'm looking to take a quick pulse on what's happening in PEI Politics and how people feel.

The link is to a 3 question survey (anonoymous of course) asking who you'd vote for if a Provincial Election happened today and who you'd WANT to vote for if an election was called today.

Thank you for any help!

Survey will close at 12pm, Sunday June 27th. I will make the results know within the week :)

What Would It Take For You To Vote NDP?

I'm Zane Nicholson, the NDP Nominee for District 11, Charlottetown- Belvedere. I'm looking to find what it would take for people to put their trust in voting for the NDP?

I've been putting myself out there on socials under ZaneReps11 or my own name, have a website that is hoping to go live this July (huge thanks to my uncle in law) and letters to the editor planned for a summer release. I'm a healthcare worker, meaning lots of overtime (also being a father to a young daughter) and don't have the ability to spend massive amounts of time going to community events non-stop. I get out door to door to introduce myself (not asking for votes of course!) when I can but unfortunately it isn't a lot.

What would it take for you to choose NDP? What would it take to put your trust in me? Is there a certain stance? Maybe an AMA? I'm open.

I appreciate any and all help.
