Need some help with exhaust

I just got a quadrafire cb1200 and want to install it in this room. He gave me a couple sections of 3” 5’ pipe, some 45s, couple clean out Tees, and 2 12” pipes. With the shed and the balcony, I assume it would be good to get the termination above the balcony. I’d like to go above the roof but i feel like that’s too far of a run with 3” pipe. His setup went above the roof so I’m sure i need a different termination to direct the smoke away from the siding. Also, I’d like to put it in the corner which sucks cause the baseboards there so was thinking about next to the half wall. Unfortunately the half wall is only a little over 2 feet away from the balcony. What would you guys do in this situation? Also, i have vented soffit nearby, but the wall i want to put it on is the gable end. Any recommendations or ideas much appreciated!! Thanks

Deciding between quad cb1200 or pelpro pp130 2200 Sq FT

Hey yall, I’ve been looking for a pellet stove for my 2200 sq ft 2 story house. I’ve been cruising marketplace constantly and haven’t seen a lot of good options. I’m stuck between an $1100 quadrafire cb1200 in nice shape or a newer pelpro pp130 for $500. I like the capacity of the pelpro for sure!! What’s the better stove? Which stove will heat my house better? I’m new to pellet stoves. I also see an enviro m55 that’s in a little rougher shape, at least the buttons on the controls anyway, that’s $800. My only reservation about the pelpro is that i can’t hook it to an external tstat. I feel like this is kind of important in a larger house? Maybe not, not sure TBH. Any recommendations or input highly appreciated!!! Thanks

Is this a good buy?

Need to ditch oil this year. I want a good stove and love the size of the hopper. Nice looking stove and should heat my colonial house. Is this a good used stove for the price? It’s from 2008. Thanks for any feedback!!

Can anyone identify model of these shingles? I know the brand but post got deleted for saying brand. Brand begins with I

So kind of a Long story here. I’ll start with the fact i am a roofer by trade. This is my personal house i purchased last year. It has solar panels on it that a large national company had deemed the roof healthy enough to last for a 25 year lease by the previous owner. I have run into these exact shingles before which don’t seal together almost at all and every nail is rusty inside the attic with water stains. In heavy rain, it weeps just enough to make the plywood wet but not drip on the attic floor. These spots change constantly as it’s a widespread problem. The fact this company thought these would last another 25 years is only 2 things: incompetence or negligence. I am going to go after them as i have worked on similiar roofs that panels never should have been put on and the people ended up suing this company and won a new roof at their cost for completely disregarding roof health which the contract explicitly states they won’t install if they don’t believe the roof to be in good condition to last the length of the lease. I’m not a sue happy person by ANY means but this is wrong and they’ve done it to countless people. Reason i want to identify the shingle is because they are discontinued and i want to build a timeline for the age of the roof. Neighbor says he’s been there 20 years and it’s never been replaced. These shingles have the considerably larger than normal reveal of that helps. I also read the shingle mfg was sued over similiar problems to what i am having like water intrusion due to non sealing. I am probably far past the point of going that route and solar company is the one that should never installed the panels on an already failing roof. They had simply changed the cap shingles on the main house and that was it. Any help with identification or other tips/useful information for navigating this is much appreciated. I don’t know if i should speak with a lawyer first or contact solar company to see if they’ll be any help before that step, which I’m assuming they won’t. It’s only 5 years into a 25 year lease and last decent rain i identified 14 wet spots on the plywood. Pretty major problem and since the spots change, it’s completely unrepairable. Thanks
