Stormkeep - Tales of Othertime

A modern day masterpiece. Have yet to own it on vinyl until today. There’s nothing to say about this album that hasn’t been said.

The 4 measures smack dab in the middle of “The Serpent’s Stone” (you know the ones) might be one of the best modern black metal riffs in existence.

Or maybe I’m just a fanboy 🥺

First ever pair of cowboy boots

Snagged these “Cartwright Bourbon Calfskin” today off marketplace for $60. They fit like a glove. I’ve got a couple pairs of lace up Red Wings and none of them fit nearly as well as this. Is this what heaven is like?

I’ve never worn a pair of cowboy boots before today.

My full GoatowaRex order

👅👅👅👅👅👅👅👅👅👅

Solid drop. Feel lucky I even got anything at all this time. I tried for the last drop in December and everything sold out in seconds. I was later able to scoop the Vesperal picture disc, but didn’t have a proper real copy of it.

Katharnum - Annals of the Preternatural
Vesperal - La Mort de l'Âme
Conifere/Vesperal - Split

Katharnum - Annals of the Preternatural

Beyond excited to finally get this in my hands. What an album. I’ve listened to it countless times on YouTube since finding out about it. For a picture disc, it actually sounds really good on my setup. Very little surface noise and pops.

Malokarpatan - Vertumnus Caesar

Picked this up over the weekend at the big show in Baltimore off the Stygian Black Hand table. In the great words of Darkthrone, “LISTEN TO MALOKARPATAN!”

GoatowaRex shipping?

Do they update shipping or is it just a “when it shows up it shows up” sorta deal?

I got one of those Katharnum picture disc’s and aside from my “thank you for your purchase” emails, I haven’t gotten a single other email from them.

Just curious. No biggie. Thanks for ya help.

Valac/Crucifixion Bell - Corrupted Spells Of Perpetual Suffering

Went to a local pop up market the other day and my buddy was selling this. Immediately recognized the GoatowaRex label. Never heard this one before just now, but I’m a big fan of both bands. Superb USMB.

Easy Question: Best Chinese Sesame Chicken in town?

Not best Chinese place, just who’s got the most bangin’ Sesame Chicken?

I used to get it all the time from New China City on Peters Creek, but they changed ownership recently and it just isn’t good now.

Help me get dinner ❤️
