This is a solid laptop that has given me no issues in the last 4.5 years. I had planned to wait for the M6s but with RAM costs soaring, I decided to upgrade sooner and purchased a M5 Pro back in March.

I have never used /r/appleswap before but I have made some transactions on /r/hardwareswap.

Shipped Price: $800 (UPS only with signature required) Local Price: $750

I'm local to Indianapolis IN and will give preference to local buyers who are willing to meet in a public place. For local sales, I will still require Paypal as the payment method.

EDIT: I will only ship to the continental US.

Trending Hyper?

I'm just staring my journey dealing with hypothyroidism having been diagnosed with Hashimoto's back in late May. The main reason I had a doctor's appt was that I started experiencing fatigue even after a full night's sleep. It wasn't crushing fatigue but it was enough to get me into the doctor's office.

My thyroid labs at the time were:

  • TSH - 8.46
  • T4, Total - 8.4
  • T4, Free - 1.08
  • T3, Free - 3.4
  • Thyroid ABS - 464
  • Vit D - 56.9
  • Ferrtin - 136
  • B12 - 1143

I was prescribed 50 mcg of levothyroxine and also had an thyroid ultrasound which showed some mild enlargement but no nodules. I was told to get new labs again in mid-August.

For the last two or so weeks, I've developed new symptoms:

  • Feeling a bit jittery similar to when I've had too much caffeine.
  • Heart rate up just a tad. Normally during the day when I'm at rest, it stays in the 60-70 range but I've seen it routinely in the mid 70s now. Also, my resting heart rate at night is usually in the low 50s but for a few days it's been in the high 50s. (The low resting rate is not a concern as I'm a very active cyclist and I've seen it in the upper 40s on occasion.)
  • Headache, especially in the morning
  • I can go to sleep with no problem. I usually wake up at least once during the night which is normal for me but now I'm having a very hard time going back to sleep.

Initially, because the headache was much like a sinus headache, I thought I had caught something respiratory but after a week, I began to doubt that as the headache was the only symptom I had.

I'm not looking for medical advice per se and I've already sent a message off to my provider with the exact same information.

I'm more or less looking for other people's experiences and wondering if they too have experienced this when first diagnosed and started levo.

Micro Freezes in Games

So I've been using Bazzite since January. The first game I played on it was Cyperpunk and after some tweaks, it worked flawlessly. Next game I played was Witcher 3. That one didn't work so well. In DX12 mode, it froze constantly which after some research, I saw that was a possibility, so I switched to DX11. That worked better but the game would still occasionally freeze for 3-5 seconds and then resume. I was annoyed but I chocked it up to it being an older game.

Now I've moved on to Spider-Man. I'm having the same issue where the game will just randomly freeze for 3-5 seconds and resume. I can't pinpoint the issue. I've tried RT on and off but no change. I've tried DLSS on/off but no change. I'm currently using the most recent version of ProtonGE.

Any other ideas what could be causing this?

For reference, here are the options I'm setting when launching the game:

DXVK_ASYNC=1 PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 PROTON_ENABLE_HDR=1 DXVK_HDR=1 ENABLE_HDR_WSI=1 SteamDeck=0 mangohud %command% -nolauncher

Fastfetch output is below.
