Is Stamford doing alright economically?
Big open-ended question, but genuinely curious. I'm moving to Stamford soon and new to this subreddit. Perhaps it's cognitive bias, but I've been noticing a lot of closure postings here: restaurants (Crab Shack Shell), Town Center Barnes & Noble closing this summer, and others.
Is this opening up space for new opportunities? Are economic policies or pressures pushing long-standing business out? Are folks seeing particular types of businesses popping up more often now than before?
Any insights from those who've seen Stamford evolve? Or where you think it's heading?
Thanks!
Edit: Corrected the name to Crab Shell
