I'm a landscape photographer. I used AI to build a visionOS Travel App to showcase 700+ worldwide 16K panoramas I shot over the years. (Free Premium Offer Codes inside!)
Hi everyone 👋,
I am a solo indie developer and a passionate landscape photographer. For the past few years, my absolute biggest hobby has been road-tripping around the world with my camera, capturing high-resolution panoramic photography at world-famous landmarks.
As a visual purist, I’ve always felt traditional 2D screens completely ruin the soul of panoramic photography. Panoramas are meant to be experienced in spatial computing. The moment I first put on the Apple Vision Pro, I knew this was the canvas I had been waiting for. The dual 4K micro-OLED displays have the incredible contrast and color accuracy needed to truly bring these locations to life. It feels less like looking at a photo, and more like a spatial time machine teleporting you back to the exact field.
Thanks to the power of AI coding tools, I was able to bridge my lack of deep technical background and build Travel Immersive, which is now officially live on the visionOS App Store!
What is Travel Immersive?
It’s a premium world-touring experience built specifically to push the display limits of the Apple Vision Pro.
- 🌍 Massive Global Catalog: Explore 700+ world-famous destinations across 75+ countries.
- 🌵 American West Road Trip Collection: Experience full high-res immersions of Arches National Park (Delicate Arch, Wilson, North Window, Corona), Antelope Canyon, and Yellowstone.
- 🏯 UNESCO Heritage Sites: Walk through the majestic scales of the Forbidden City, The Great Wall, and the Terracotta Army—all personally captured and curated.
- 🔭 The Future Roadmap: This is just the beginning. I’m currently researching 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) and volumetric captures to introduce full 6DoF movement into the app in future updates.
