Do you all think this can be rehabbed or is it dry rot and forget about it? Thinking about buying.

Hi everyone, I tried a Facebook rehab group for advice and got nothing. Maybe they were like way too many problems. 😆 I have a big project bag in my possession and I haven't done any major restorations. Wanted some input since I do not want to devalue the bag.

1. there is a stain that is on the top flap that clearly went all the way through. Do I dunk it (scary) or do I use a lot of lexol cleaning spray?
2. What should I do about the edges missing?
   Have someone add leather patches or use leather filler and paint?
3. There are punctures on the front flap as if the had sewn a patch or something onto the poor bag. Leather filler and paint?
4. The ink stain. It is what it is and thankfully under the front flap. However, I am afraid if I dunk the bag that it might make the ink spread.

Help Please! I’m a bit scared to touch it aside from the bit of leather glue I used on some of the edges.😩

Found this thrifting. I was attracted immediately to the color and shape and then saw the inside. It has a serial number on the back of the inner Gucci tag also. Does anyone have any info on this bag? I can’t seem to find anything. The closest I found to this color and type of leather was a 1947 bamboo bag. Anyone know what year it’s from? 🤷‍♀️

Got 4 of these 5” bowls and love them. Was curious about the artist.
