Anyone have the Husky heavy duty extra wide cabinets?
I was looking into buying these 2 partial sets to put together:
At first
I didn’t realize that there was both heavy duty regular width and these extra wides, which got me diving down a little rabbit hole, because from what’s in the product descriptions the extra wide are as stated, a bit wider per cabinet and possibly about 1 inch taller and do not mix with the regular width set (I was about to purchase a regular and and extra wide set to put together before I noticed this) I have been reading a bunch of reviews and searching around videos, and I can’t seem to find any post or review on the extra wide version which is just making me a little curious if there is anyone on here that maybe could tell me about their experience with these. I have been between husky and NewAge and it seems like both have bad reviews with shipping/returns and fully damaged or dented products but many of these reviews are years old. My father has a new age proline which is a sturdy quality so my other question is this a similar feel to new age quality (husky regularly states 19 or 20gauge steel, not sure why 2 different gauges) My one gripe with the linked sets is I would prefer 2 x 5 drawer tool cabinets but they only sell that 3 piece extra wide with the double doors and I do not have the space to just purchase 2 of the 4 piece sets. On top of that the standalone tool drawer is out of stock.
TLDR; has anyone bought the extra wide sets? Is the quality comparable to newage pro series? If I purchased a regular wide and extra wide set to combine would it not lineup heighth wise? Is there still shipping/returns/damage issues with husky and newage?
