Hey guys, I posted a picture of my first CRT that I just picked up today! I am really happy about it. While it does not have a service menu to finetune the geometry it can be tuned with potentiometers.
It does have a solid picture and I am really happy with the quality of the CRT. However, I noticed is that when turning it on for a like a few seconds the picture is monochrome, I assume which could be due to cold solder joints or something? Apart from that its great! So much better than composite to LCD. Currently waiting for my RGB SCART for the SNES
Also I do need a bit of help on how to take pictures of a CRT properly as I was struggling on shooting a nice looking picture.

So, perhaps some of you have seen my absolutely terrible job at trying to solder a picoloader... I decided to redo it, this time with flux and a higher Temperature. I used a chiseled tip, which scared me a bit since it was so wide. But yeah... Hope this looks better! The old picture is the second slide btw lmao

Hi. I think I stepped well out of my comfort zone by trying a soldered mod for my gamecube. I know that there are solderless versions for the pico but I wanted to attempt Something new.... Do these joints look okayish for an absolute noob?
Hallöchen! Wollte mal nachfragen welche Schabe sich hier verlaufen hat. Das es keine Deutsche schane ist kann ich sehen wegen den fehlenden Streifen auf dem Schild, aber welche Schabe könnte das genau sein? Sie wurde sicher nach draußen ins Grüne gesetzt.
