Honours Psychology: from a UWA undergrad to ECU?

Hello, I was wondering whether anyone has swapped from UWA to ECU (or any other uni) to complete an honours in psychology?

I have a few questions:

- What WAM did you get?

- What WAM is the minimum?

- How has your experience been?

- Is your honors sufficient for an entry into Masters at ECU or elsewhere?

Thanks!!

Are we seeing an Animus posession in western society?

Anima is what we may consider the 'right brain' in philosophy / research these days. It's emotional and nurturing and concerned with being and connectedness. We may consider it feminine in nature. Compassion here is associated with being left wing politically (using my personality research knowledge as a psychology student here).

The Animus is the 'left brain'. It's concerned with manipulating and transforming the external world. We consider it masculine in nature. Conscientiousness here is associated with being more right wing.

Posession (skip if you know this):

Each of us has both and a balance between them is vital for wellbeing. But if we cut one off, then the other one becomes more dominant and consciously identified with. But what we see is 'posession', where the repressed one drives the person unconsciously.

An example of anima possession: An analytical 'go getter' who seems cold, but underneath they are driven my emotion. They are paranoid they're being manipulated and emotionally overcome when they're 'being' is threatened.

An example of animas possession: Someone easy-going and compassionate but locked in their internal fantasy of what their ideal external world could be.

My point:

But what if an example of animas possession is seen in history. What about a group of people who are selfless and compassionate, but are possessed by a drive towards external structure and control. This seems to make more sense. But using this example brings up some social and political concerns.

Some compassionate and unconscientious people in Australia I know are indirectly condoning the assassination of the rich or denounce those who voice certain political views. If enough people think this way, then yeah, policy will be past and these things could somewhat become reality.

This has happened in the past. In communist regimes, like Stalin displacing the wealthy farmers and indirectly starving millions, or sending those with alternate worldviews marching to their death into the icey tundras.

My point is, I think people may be cut off from their Animus in the western world. My fear is we may be experiencing animus possession and not even know it. Animus possession on deep and widespread level seems analogous to what society looked like before the emergence of tyrannical communist regimes.

I know, this is a grim idea and hard to discuss. But important to explore regardless. Thoughts?

Can I get my cross-institution unit grades before the deadline for honours at UWA?

So basically I've got one unit left in my undergraduate and it's not offered in semester two. This means I'd have to complete it next year (i.e I wait 1.5 years to graduate). But I've found a uni that offers an equivalent unit to streamline things.

However, UWA has a strict deadline for honours applications (7 Dec) and the results from this unit would release around November 27. This only gives a little more than a week to transfer the unit grade and send off the application.

Should I attempt to get it done when the deadline & results are so tight? Has anyone tried this?

This is psych hons if that adds anything.
