Just wanted to share this stunning art deco waterfall dresser I found today :)

Took me 6 hours to completely disinfect, scrub and clean out but she is so stunning and it was very worth it !!! Grail find for me this year, they ended up only wanting $40 💗

My new in-progress gallery wall of all the vintage frames and flea market finds I’ve collected for 4 years 💗

I don’t really have anyone in my life who would appreciate how much effort and emotion went into this gallery wall, so I wanted to post it here ! I have been thrifting, antiquing, going to flea markets and different oddities expos for 4 years now gathering different frames and such to put on this wall. We just finished painting it last month and I am so excited to have all of my collected items on display !!! This house belonged to my husband’s great grandparents and they built it 72 years ago, I really wanted the wall to reflect the love and care that’s been put into this home. While I can’t say it’s completely finished, I am just so grateful to have my stack of frames put up!! Thank you for bearing witness💗 every single one of these pieces is very sentimental to me.

Outfit help for upcoming concert !!

Hi all, I’m not sure if outfit help for a Haute and Freddy concert is allowed here, but I wanted to ask…
I am putting together my outfit for the “Showgirl at heart” themed concert next weekend, and I feel like this is not giving what I wanted it to give. I was going for dark Victorian showgirl, because that’s my personal style, and I’ve spent months putting this together, but something just feels kind of off to me ?? I’m not sure what to do but if you have any suggestions let me know :) super duper amped to see Haute and Freddy!!!

I am so over this yall

This is mostly a rant

I’ve been with my husband for 4 years now, (dating for 3 married for 1), and somehow his entire family still cannot grasp the concept of celiac being an auto immune disease that harms my body significantly. I’ve tried every explanation under the sun and eventually just gave up, I never eat food from anyone else after the 5th time of trying and still getting sick. They can’t grasp the concept of cross contamination, and when I try to explain they just get weird about it. I am so fed up and frustrated at this point because they’ll do this thing where they offer to make me food to be nice, they bring it, I eat it because if I don’t they make a huge fuss about the fact that they tried, and then I get sick. So I’ve just put my foot down at this point.

I still get side eye at family gatherings for bringing my own stuff, I still get whispered about and called ridiculous to my face for “overreacting”

My husband stands up for me every single time, but he ALSO has celiac and they don’t believe him either.

Not to mention ~ my husbands aunt had celiac back in the day, and when she became pregnant for the first time, it was so stressful on her body it literally changed her genetics or something and now she no longer has any reaction to gluten??? So now they believe if I get pregnant I’ll be cured or something. Absolutely absurd.

Anyway, feel free to vent in the comments I’ve just really hit my limit with his family.
