Try it on is a masterpiece
Seriously , Paul's vocals and lyrics on this thing are perfection. It has a gorgeous cinematic sound . This might be a top 10 interpol song for me

Hey everyone. I’m sharing this here because I love this community and the band’s music, but a recent interaction left a really sour taste in my mouth, and I feel it deserves a discussion.A close friend of mine has been a massive fan of Twin Peaks since the very beginning. He’s supported them relentlessly—buying records, merch, making handmade custom gear, and traveling to shows. We actually bonded over our shared love for the band, and he recently even helped me get my entire discography signed by them.

After the final show of their Thalia Hall residency, my friend spotted the band walking by. He didn't crowd them; he just gave a polite nod. Unfortunately, he was completely ignored. When my friend mentioned he had another LP with him, Clay’s only words were, "I ain't signing anything tonight," followed by, "We've already signed a bunch of stuff for him." There was no hello, no acknowledgement, nothing. My friend left feeling completely heartbroken. I know the common sentiment is that "the band doesn't owe us anything," and I agree to an extent. This isn't about being upset over a missing signature. This is about basic kindness, respect, and communication.

I understand musicians get exhausted, especially after a huge residency. But Clay could have easily just said: "Hey man, we're completely wiped tonight and we already signed a lot of stuff for you before, hope you understand." That’s it. It would have taken five seconds and left everyone on good terms. Instead, he chose to be dismissive and treat a day-one fan like a nuisance. When a band constantly preaches unconditional love for their fanbase, moments like this make those sentiments feel a bit fabricated. I still love their music and I'm not trying to cancel anyone, but seeing a dedicated fan get treated like an inconvenience just didn't sit right with me.
