What are your favorite Interpol songs?

Hi everyone, i'm new both to the band and to this channel; what would you say are their best songs overall, but also the most emotional/moving ones and the ones with the best lyrics? I'm especially interested in songs that really hit you emotionally or have lyrics that you find particularly beautiful, meaningful or haunting. Thanks!

New to Interpol and seeing them on sunday

Hi, I’m seeing Interpol at all points east festival this sunday. My main reason for going was because I’m a big deftones fan but Interpol are also a band I’ve been meaning to get into for a while. I’ve listened to their debut and really enjoyed it, but as I’m seeing them in a few days I’m just wondering if anyone knows what songs they usually play live. I’m not one to usually ask for individual songs as I like listening to full albums, but if there’s anything In particular I should definitely get to know before I see them I’d greatly appreciate it (I’ll go through and listen to whole albums after I’ve seen them and have more time). Thanks

Toronto - Sobeys Stadium

Has anyone been to this venue? Anything good around it? I was surprised when the show was announced there. Nothing around really that I know of (places to go for a drink / dinner before or after). I'm seriously considering driving to Montreal instead to make it more of a night.

Brad Truax Interview

This is a podcast from 2020 with Brad Truax. Very fun conversation about his beginnings in music and his early days in NYC. Particularly interesting hearing about how he got involved with the band and learning those low notes we all love.

Excited to hear everyone’s thoughts after the listening sessions

That’s all. Many of us will get to hear the record this Thursday at the listening sessions! So looking forward to hearing initial thoughts from those who attend.

Will we ever have more Muzz?

I’ve been revisiting both the LP and the Covers EP in the last few weeks and it still holds up so beautifully. From a personal standpoint, it was really a staple in my Covid soundtrack and I feel it’s the best material Paul
has released outside the band. Is there any possibility at some point that new material will be available? Certainly not this year or well in to next year because of the tour (can’t wait so see them in Montreal again) I would guess?

So is rest my chemistry about cocaine???

As a recovering addict this song hits like a truck, has anybody in the band talked about the song?
