Hi everyone! If anyone is familiar with the small black and tabby cats that were inseparable on Ft Greene Pl up until recently -- the tabby has been rescued! Her sister (the black cat) unfortunately passed away a few months ago and the tabby had been declining, hence the need for a rescue. The tabby's adoption situation recently fell through, so though she currently has a temporary foster, we are now looking for someone else willing to foster or adopt her asap!

Some information about her:

She is 8-10 years old, 7 pounds, vaccinated/spayed, and litterbox trained. If you've met her, you'll know that she's a real sweetie, well-socialized, very friendly and affectionate, mild-mannered with a sense of humor. I predict a sweet lap cat personality in her future.

I can provide a litter box, litter, food, and anything else that may be needed.

Edit: Sorry if this post was confusing or worrying for anybody -- the tabby is much healthier now that she's been rescued! She has been eating well and her weight has improved -- indoor life suits her! Now she just needs a long term home :)

Dearest Ft Greeners, does anyone know what happened to the stray black cat that was always hanging around the park by the technical school? It was joined at the hip with a little tabby for months, and now the tabby is still around but the other guy is nowhere to be seen. Despite being strays, the cats seemed well-fed, cared for, and always really friendly. Hope he’s good.
