So my 17yo son has been having such difficulty with getting his pre-scheduled phone interviews done. The past two days, the hiring agency person has said they would call at a specific time and then, it wouldn't go through. He's tried with multiple different phones on multiple different time slots too. Then they send an email afterwards saying they missed hearing from him.

He's really discouraged and would rather just go in the store and talk a REAL person. But I guess some companies get so big that they outsource all their hiring and get caught up in the technology to the point where it inhibits progress.

I find it ironic that a company that prides itself on customer service can't even talk to potential employees face to face.

I'll be in the area next month for business and wanted to know of any local places to eat that "you just have to try" or something like that. Anything unusual or unique? Any good BBQ places? Just let me know.
