Is VIP worth the extra $$? We’ve been a few times before as field/stadium.

I reserved parking in lots 25-35 min walks away from the stadium. The app was recommended by someone on Facebook and it has great reviews. Has anyone had experience using it for sonic? Did you get there and the lot was full and you got turned away even though you had a reservation?
