Under New Moderation

Hi Everybody,

Having noticed the former moderator having gone AWOL and locking down the subreddit, I made the effort to pickup moderation responsibilities to help create a resource for the KPU community to use. It's a shame that other local colleges and universities have active and helpful subreddits yet KPU does not.

Let's change that over the coming weeks, months, and with any luck, years and more!

I was at my daughter's elementary school today (in Burnaby) and found several dense clusters of fire ants near the school's playground. We were here yesterday and they weren't there.

There are city signs about them nearby, but I haven't seen them so close to the school where kids play over the last few years.

Is it worth letting the school know in the morning if they're still here so they can call pest control?

EDIT: Seems like they're probably not fire ants from what I'm seeing from others. Thanks for the extra eyes on the ants!
