Interesting take from Digiday here about the state of programmatic advertising and AI.

They predict automation will surface all the math and numbers the platforms would rather hide. Buried fees, hidden margins, and so forth. And how the need for AI to be grounded in clean data will prompt (excuse the pun) advertisers to ask where their money is actually going.

It brings back to mind the TTD-Publicis fiasco and the holdco transparency war it rekindled earlier this year…

What does everyone here think about this?

AppsFlyer is Launching a Web SDK

AppsFlyer recently announced a Web SDK that applies mobile attribution to web campaigns to create a single source of truth.

And that’s huge because as we all know, we’ve never had a unified way to attribute campaigns across all channels.

That should finally give us the ability to tie key moments to a user across devices, not just random device-level events.

What benefit do you guys think this will have for products on a practical level?

EDIT: To clarify, the SDK isn't that new per se, but their unified web performance measurement for web AND mobile attribution is (launched in May).
