Need some help, overthinking my slash and spread (first time drafting Princess seams)
Hi, so I’ve read so many articles and watched so many videos but I can’t seem to wrap my head around what my next step is.
First photo is my bodice block with the dart in the original position. Second photo is the dart closed and then slashed and spread at the shoulder. I’ve drawn the princess seam but this is my question: do I leave it like that and just add seam allowances or do I re-draw the side piece and fill in that space? I feel like I know the answer but I’m overthinking it.
By the way I drew those dark lines around the pattern pieces so they’d be more visible
I’m not sure if I’m babbling. Please help?
