How are people maintaining straight A's in summer classes while writing a thesis? What am I missing?

I look at some people in my cohort right now and I’m genuinely baffled. It’s the end of June, officially summer is here, and I’m trapped in my room trying to finish my thesis data collection.

To make things worse, I had to take two extra summer modules to graduate on time, and the weekly assignments are draining the life out of me. I look at my peers, and they are somehow working on their research, taking the same summer classes, and still getting perfect grades. Meanwhile, I’m barely surviving just doing my literature review.

Are people just secretly using an online coursework writing service to handle their side modules during the summer, or are there some god-tier time management skills that I was never taught?

Seriously, how do you balance high-level research with mundane weekly papers without losing your mind?

Offered my rare plant collection for free, got yelled at for not providing a cargo van

I have been growing tropical indoor plants for a few years. This early June I decded to remodel my sunroom into a permanent home office. I just do not have the space or the proper lighting for my massive greenery anymore. Instead of dealing with buyers, I posted on a local online board offering everything for free to anyone willing to pick them up.

These are big, healthy plants including a six foot tall fiddle leaf fig. A woman messaged me within minutes claiming she would take the entire lot. We agreed on a time and she drove over yesterday afternoon.

She pulled up to my driveway in a tiny compact sedan. When she saw the size of the plants, she realized there was no way they were fitting in her trunk. Instead of realizing her mistake, she got incredibly defensive. She demanded that I rent a moving van and drive the plants to her house onthe other side of the county.

I politely told her I simply do not have the time to do that. She immediately lost her temper. She accused me of being a deceptive elitist who tries to trick normal people with fake freebies. She argued that since I am the one getting rid of them, it is my absolute respons ibility to provide safe transport to their new home.

She then tried to shove one of my heaviest pots into her passenger seat, snapping a beutiful thick stem right in half. I had to literally block my front gate and tell her to leave before I called the authorities. I just wanted to do something nice, but this completely ruined my weekend.
