Im lost 🥲
So for context this isn't my aquarium this is my fiancé but hes at basic training so me and his brother has been taking turns to take care of it.
I am only able to come Sundays at the moment.
But his brother has some mental problems I've been told. And I keep telling him not to add anything besides food into the aquariums but he adds milk? And loves to put TOOO MUCH PRIME like talking at least a tablespoon of prime for every 2 gallons and i just want to keep theses fishes alive and dont know what to do. I locked his door and his brother broke it down. His brother also loves to take the fish out the water with his hands and throw them into a different tank with completely differnt temps, hardness and everything.
I have had 4 fishes die already. (Could be just coincidence IDK ANYMORE and of course it was my fiancé favorites)
He also has a sweet potato plant growing and my fiancé wants it off to the right side, where the dog it but his brother keeps putting it into the water so it can get light, and drowning the plant. I open the windows for sunlight but his brother of course closes it.
Basically what I asking is what's a good way I can get this sweet potato to look good and keep theses fishes alive till October...
Aquarium info:
29 gallon (I think)
Has roughly the following fish:
12 or more Ember Tetris
6 or less neno tetris
4 otocinclus
8 corydora
1 dwarf Mexican crayfish
Chili rasbora
3 koi loaches
1 sliver hatched
2 amaon shrip
And a bunch of colored shrimp
A few nitrates snails and trumpet? ( Cones) and blader snails
There's a filter and a heater and thus aquarium has been up for roughly a year now give or take
The reason why it's so mixed up is because we had a huge outbreak of deaths right before my fiancé left and wasn't able to fix it in time so.. that's why there's like odd numbers and probably a hudge mix of things(im stilling learning I don't know much) Overall I just want to keep these guys alive till October and make them a little bit happier till he comes back
