Hey maplers!

I’ve seen in guides that rolling for 2nd line first, 1st and 3rd line after in order is the optimal way of rolling.

Now why is this more optimal than just locking 1st and rolling for 2nd in case you hit?

I can’t understand why and I don’t think any of my guides I’ve seen really explains why
