Just that, really. The terrible free vodka, the sweaty dancefloor, the random friends I made in the toilet queue, far too much snogging, dancing like a twat, the door staff, mad dance nights in the basement... how many years ago did it close?
Showing my age here, but many years ago I used Shroud by BPAL which was discontinued a long, long time ago. I found an imp with about 0.5ml left in it while I was clearing out an old jewellery box yesterday and remembered how much I loved it.
BPAL madness says the notes were:
"Dry white sandalwood wrapped in thin woods, soft grasses and the lightest white flowers layered over cajeput and the warm, deep scent of embalming herbs."
Is there a good alternative anywhere? I really enjoyed the sad and slightly disconcerting smell and would love to smell morose and unsettling again.
