I beat lunar 1 finally and then started and beat lunar 2 for the first time. Lunar 1 was fun and light but lunar 2 was genuinely a top tier JRPG

There’s a lot of new players beating themselves up and then getting further flamed. I get it. I’ve been playing pokemon for a long time and I’ll likely never get champion. But that’s okay! My advice if any, is not to focus on wins or losses. Focus on plays. Don’t get mad at the meta because your off meta team lost to charizard Y; instead ask which combo of pokemon are better to open with and look forward to the next charizard team you play so you can test your theory. Watch what combo of pokemon they most commonly bring into your team and adjust your mons so you have answers. Build your specific teams flowchart one play at a time. Challenge yourself to find the secret sauce that makes your team win. Look at lists of the pokemon in champions and say “what can I slot in to beat them? If I pull a pokemon what tools do I lose?”

Most of all, you’re doing well. Take a breather, don’t be upset you lost, and have fun building your team. You got this!
