In the 150s again!

I started my weight loss journey 7 weeks ago. I was 174 which was the heaviest I had ever been and now I’m 159! I know that’s still in the high 150s but I hadn’t seen that number in a long time and I’m very happy about it. I’m trying to get down to 145. It seems so close yet so far.

I’ve also been peeing a lot. I’ve heard that’s a good thing but it’s so annoying.

I still eat the same food

I am on rybelsus and I haven’t changed my diet much. I never ate super unhealthy but I’m also not into the super strict dieting programs and what not. I eat out all the time, but I’m eating significantly less. Most of what I eat is high in protein and that was a habit I had even before rybelsus. I’ve always had an issue with overeating and this has completely cured that. I feel like I’m cheating because I’m not on a strict diet and just eating less. I no longer feel like a fat pig when I go out with my friends because I’m eating significantly more than them. I feel in control. My energy is up, and I feel normal. I never thought I’d feel normal.

Anyways I’ve been on it for 6 weeks and I’ve lost 10lbs. My fats all squishy now? I’ve heard of this being called the whoosh effect but I haven’t seen any science based evidence behind it but I’ve heard it’s a good indicator you’re losing weight. I am skeptical.
