I only saw one comment on this sub talking about the discomfort of listening to Mae’s story with the masseuse in Nepal with the obvious power dynamics that entailed. Mae even said later that the guy asked them to help him get a Canadian passport. Maybe it wasn’t a fun sexy time for him, and it’s what people in developing counties everywhere do when they meet someone from a rich country so they get a shot at a better life? i can chalk it down to being young and naive but it didnt sound like there was any introspection with time. Disappointed.

Hi, the time has come where I finally need to face the truth. I have a complicated wisdom tooth on my lower side that's causing frequent gum inflammation and my dentist says it's better to just get the wisdom tooth impacting the molar out. However it's one of those nasty ones where the roots are curved inwards so I have to be referred to an oral surgeon at a hospital.

Wondering if anyone else has had a complex wisdom tooth removal done and where? Presumably it's at one of the big hospitals? I'm in Shinjuku ward and would ideally like to go somewhere nearby. Dentist immediately suggested St Luke's due to English capabilities but that's quite far. She did warn me also that I'd likely have to wait a few months. Thank you.
