Atypical Cells Found Post-RRSO

Hi all - I (38F, BRCA1) had my risk-reducing salpingoophorectomy last Wednesday and am on the mend. Was feeling relief after completing both preventative surgeries (PDMX last year), until I got my pathology report back. While there was no evidence of disease in my fallopian tubes or ovaries, a sample taken from the pelvic wash they did came back with “Atypical cells present.” The doctor reached out to let me know they were connecting with pathology for further information and would keep me posted, but I’m worried. I’m trying to be rational and remind myself that it could be nothing, but of course the fear creeps in. Anyone else get similar results back? What was the outcome?

HELP. 1.5 year old suddenly refusing to sleep in his crib…

Parents of Reddit, I need some advice. Two weeks ago, our 19 month old son suddenly started refusing to sleep in his room. He’s never been an amazing sleeper (woke up at least once a night for a cuddle & milk for forever), but he’s always been very comfortable in his crib. In the few days leading up to his sudden refusal, he was harder to put down but eventually fell asleep in his room. And then boom, one night it became a heart-pounding, sweaty, screaming cry for hours every time we attempted to put him in his crib. He’ll be dead asleep in the rocker in our room after books & bottle, and the second we cross the threshold into his, he’ll jerk awake and begin screaming. We’ve tried different sound machines, night lights, clothing, but we’re coming up on 2.5 weeks of no success and him sleeping (horizontally) between us in our bed. He can be a fussy sleeper and the large window in our room lets light in way too early, so my husband and I have been getting terrible sleep and waking up early with him every day. Not to mention, our 3 year old comes in and wants to sleep with us as well, and I feel terrible having to say no because I don’t want her to wake her brother (we bring her back to her room and rub her back until she falls back asleep.) We’re making attempts every night to make him feel more comfortable in his room (reading books, playing), and he’s good until it’s crib time. Any advice or shared experiences would be helpful - we’re exhausted.
