I was offered underbody coating during my first servicing. I declined it thinking its unnecessary expense and they are just upselling it.

During my second service after a year they said car has bit of a rust as I did not get coating done and I should get it done. i still think its scare tactic but considering its mahindra should I get any get the coating done?

I used to own maruti and I got it done once and never redid it and car is fine for past 10 years.
