The black box represents a corner. The red circle is an enemy behind that corner. The blue circle is mr wuyang. The orange line represents your shot if you try to hit them from a shallow angle. The green line represents your shot if you try to hit them from a wide angle.

The point of this is to illustrate that sometimes if you want to hit an enemy around a corner that it's better to start wide. I see a lot of wuyang players try to hug corners with their projectiles a lot. I made this in like 1 minute in ms paint but I think it's legible.

Your Guardian Wave is not like Ana's Biotic Grenade. While it can be used offensively or defensively, similar to Ana's Biotic Grenade, it's significantly better to use it defensively as opposed to Ana's Biotic Grenade better being used offensively. If you can get some damage out of it while using it defensively, that's awesome. It has a 14 second cooldown. Don't just use it willy nilly to do a little bit of damage in the midfight.

Don't wait for the enemy to have already dove you to use Rushing Torrent. If you see Winston jumping towards your direction, don't wait for him to land to then use Rushing Torrent. You already know he's going towards you, so use your Rushing Torrent immediately to create as much distance as you can away from him. One of Wuyang's biggest weaknesses is close quarters combat because you need space to charge up your orb shots. Don't let it happen if it doesn't need to happen.

Start cancelling your Rushing Torrent. If you have no need for your Rushing Torrent, cancel it. Your cooldown will only start counting down when the ability ends, so if you cancel it when you don't need it anymore, you'll get it back faster.

If you find yourself in an unfortunate situation in which you need to use your ultimate on your self, keep in mind that the cast time for using it on yourself is longer. It's fully possible for you to die mid-cast and it sucks donkey balls when it happens.
