Zappa and the Mothers of Invention are namechecked in "Thanx" but does anyone know specifically if/how Zappa influenced Sublime or which of Zappa's songs/compositions Bradley/Sublime were fans of? I was thinking the interpolation of "Rhapsody in Blue" in the beginning of "What Happened" is Zappaesque and of course "Date Rape" is a dark comedy song like "Bobby Brown" but otherwise idk
There's one scene in Far from Home/Foutleys on Ice where Miranda and Mipsy are calling from a lavish-looking bedroom with an Egyptian theme but I always assumed that was Mipsy's room. Is that the only time Miranda or Mipsy's houses appear in the show? I'm mostly asking because TV Tropes claimed Miranda and Mipsy live in "Big Fancy Houses" like Courtney and in Mipsy's case that's very likely but I don't recall actually seeing either of their houses at all except that one scene.
Also TV Tropes was claiming Mipsy is ditzier and has less understanding of the real world than Courtney. Idk what you guys think about that
