Transmission failure on 2016 Rogue

I hoped to keep my 2016 Rogue with 210,000 kms for another couple of years but found out yesterday the transmission is failing. It hopefully will last me a few more months until my new vehicle arrives, the mechanic says it should (fingers crossed). I am bummed, even the mechanic says it is in fantastic condition otherwise. I kept up the maintenance the whole time I had it.

I looked up reviews about the transmission, and I see it is common for the CVT engine; I had no idea. This was my second Rogue, I am sad.

***(yes the CVT fluid has been replaced)***

2026 Highlander Hybrid Limited Platinum - test drive

I meant to say Platinum. (not limited)

I have never driven a Toyota before or a hybrid vehicle. Tomorrow I will be test driving a 2026 Highlander Hybrid Platinum. I am excited, I really hope I like it. I have been searching for a new vehicle for months now and I think this one may be the winner. It is time to move on from 18 years of a Nissan. Don't get me wrong, I have had hardly any issues with the two I have had but it is time to tread in new waters.

Any tips I need for test driving?
