Question on Rokid glasses real-life translation for traveling
Hi everyone,
I wanted to ask if anyone has real experience using Rokid glasses for actual live translation, especially while travelling.
I’m going to Japan later this year, and my Japanese is really not good at all. I’m thinking of using my Rokid glasses as my main translator during the trip, for things like ordering food, asking for directions, shopping, taking transport, and general conversations.
For those who have tried it, is the translation good and reliable enough for real-life use? Is it fast enough during normal conversation, or does it feel awkward and slow?
I’m also wondering whether it is advisable to rely mainly on the glasses, or whether I should prepare another dedicated translation device, or just use my iPhone instead.
Would really appreciate any insight, especially from anyone who has used the glasses overseas in Japan or other countries where they don’t speak the language well.
Thanks!
