Prom, on a recent post I asked advice on what to alter, thank you to the advice! My hair didn’t quite do waves like I wanted. (Free Dress attempted to make 1950s)

My prom is in a week 😬ok sooo I want to shorten this dress to a more 50s length, add a cluster of flowers to the side (I don’t wanna touch the top too much bc I’m gonna make it into a shirt after prom) I plan to make it more poofy with a petticoat and triangle panels and maybe add white lace to the bottom (not sure about lace but I want SOMETHING white at the bottom) I’m thinking white shoes, gloves/or bracelets bc I like a white and blue theme BUTTT is there any idea to make it more 50s? Or if this idea is bad tell me honestly
