Krita or procreate

I recently started college as a freshman, and since I’m in Liberal Arts I was given an iPad with an Apple Pencil. I’ve seen some friends using procreate for digital art.

I bought my own drawing tablet last year meant for a computer. I used Krita a few times, but haven’t really touched it since starting Drawabox and trying to finish my sketchbook. Now I’m debating whether to use my laptop(not that new) and drawing tablet(Xp-pen Artist 13.3 pro) to make digital art with Krita, or use the new iPad with procreate.

I only ever made 1 artwork with Krita. Also spending money isn’t a problem for me.

Edit: I somehow FORGOT to ask which I should use, Krita or Procreate. Mb

Fallout build

It’s super hot where I live so to pass the time at night I’ve been playing Minecraft. A few months ago I made a flat creative world to practice making builds. This is what I built after 2 days using a reference I got off of Pinterest.

How decent is my build? There are a lot of things I feel are wrong with it. Anything specific or general help with future builds would be appreciated. I’ve loved this game for years and want to get great at building.

Why is Polyphemus animated like that?

No hate to any artists or animators, just a genuine question. Also credit to akanatsuzeko for the art I used(hope I spelled it right)

So I absolutely LOVE the cyclops saga, but whenever I see animatics Polyphemus looks so eldritch. Again, nothing wrong with that, but it’s… it’s all of them. I think I found 1 by WolfyTheWitch on YouTube that has him looking less monstrous.

Is it just a style or artistic choice? I get it if it’s symbolism for him being a terrifying giant cannibal. Just curious if there’s just some note to animators who make Epic animations that Polyphemus has to look super badass and horrifying.

Again, no hate to anyone and I have no problem with Polyphemus looking how he does in animatics, just curious.

Do I have problem players?

I’m currently DMing my first campaign, Dragons of Stormwreck Isle, and it’s going pretty good. I already made plans to create my first homebrew campaign inspired by the American Western Frontier, but I have a problem I want to nip in the bud before I do that.

I’m definitely not the best person to spot this or call it out, being a new DM, so I want some advice. Are two of my players being problematic? A few seasons ago someone was added, and they seemed pretty cool. Though I also noticed 2 other players being quiet after this player was added. We do stuff through an online call and whiteboard since we live apart from each other.

My problem is that these two players talk a lot and are way louder than my other players, and even me at points. I want to tell my other 2 players they don’t have to wait for me to ask them what they want to do, but I also noticed that it’s hard for even ME to get a word in as one of these 2 problematic players keeps chiming in.

It’s not a massive problem, but even today I was getting frustrated when I had to say FOUR TIMES to do a check, but they couldn’t hear me because they wouldn’t STOP TALKING. I’m fine with players wanting to talk, but two of these players are now just killing the mood by having their characters petty fighting.

Should I say something? I’m worried I’ll approach it aggressively and won’t be able to remain neutral in this. I don’t want to push anyone away or make anyone feel bad for being themselves and having fun. Should I talk to the other two and ask if they feel they’re problematic? Please let me know if I’m just jumping to conclusions too quickly.

Hiii! 1st time posting!👋🏽😊

Took a break from stressing over college admissions, studying for finals, and scholarship apps to make this. Turned 18 earlier this month, and with some support from my friend decided to post this. Sorry it’s not well made :/

Edit: Thank you guys for being so nice and talkative with me! I’m usually pretty shy and reclusive IRL, so this is a nice change for me. Again, thanks for the warm welcome
