The OEM of the original df83v is coming out with a new 80mm grinder CF80v, they also have a replacement for the 83mm aka cf83v .

Can't believe for almost 3k ,this didn't come with a cover,I ordered one from taobao China that arrived just on time(paid $12 for it).
It is heavy but not that bulky in person, the auto purge function is great, I basically get less than .01g of retention with the knocker every time grinding at espresso at espresso range (mine is set at 1.8 for now)
,it is quick like under 4 seconds and there is no statics from which I can tell, I dose directly to the portafilter, the ground comes out fluffy no wdt needed.
As for the flavor, I just discovered some new nuance from the same beans.
