I am soliciting the group for ideas of Hobbit themed magical items that might have been left behind when they migrated west. My party is traveling around the Misty Mountains, the vales of the Anduin, and Mirkwood right now and would love to have them stumble on some ancient Hobbit hole.

I have been thinking about dwarven or westernesse craftsmanship since the Eotheod and Khazad-dum were in this region around the same time the Hobbits inhabited it.

I am wondering if anyone knows of homebrew rules in the discord around dual wielding swords? I have a ranger player that did not take a shield to be eligible for the cultural perk of gaining no fatigue on Journey phases but asked about the purpose for this post.

I am already thinking short swords only, maybe a +1 parry bonus, and requiring a success icon on a roll to hit with both swords in the same action OR affecting my defense roll in some way since it is theoretically harder to defend against a dual wielding opponent.

Kind of hoping someone has solved this dilemma for me already.

So sometimes my party uses a lot of hope points in a session and sometimes they don't. Aside from a patron bonuses, are there any homebrew uses for Fellowship points out there that would be useful for offering to the party?

This could be useful for making them miserable as well since they could refill fewer hope points in every session

I have a Rohan player and the Circle of Noms homebrew virtues don't really apply to his character or our style of game. Anyway, I am wondering if anyone knows of any other homebrew collections of cultural virtues for this society that I might use as inspiration?
