I'm just not a big fan of clipless pedals, personally, and I will probably always prefer flats. My question is what kind of shoes do people prefer for flat pedals? Not a specific company or pair or anything, just what kind of shoe? I know cycling shoes are a thing, but they seem so expensive to me, and the few I've tried on, but not purchased, have felt slightly weird to me. I started with sneakers years ago, just because it's what I had and it works fine enough, but I started using a pair of indoor soccer shoes that I don't use anymore. They have a very thin sole that is relatively firm, so I figured they'd work well as cycling shoes, and honestly, I find them pretty enjoyable to use. I doubt anyone else has experience using that kind of shoe, but does anyone else have experience using flat cycling shoes or anything else that they liked?

If it comes time to get a new pair after these wear out, I'd love some idea of something that makes more sense if I could try it out. I honestly might just buy another pair of indoor soccer shoes because it's what I'm used to and it works just fine. This is more for curiosity than anything else.

I just wasted so much time. I have one of each of the epic dragons that you can search for with Toothless, and the Nightmare Tyrant is the best fish collector Toothless can search for, so I figured I would just keep searching for more of them since I have every dragon he can find. Not until a month later that I realized you can only have one of each epic. That was all an entire waste of time now. Why can you search for these dragons if you can only have one of them😭
