After the climax, Xaden is ‘cured’ and he has a scene where he weeps uncontrollably with Sgaeyl for she stood by him.

I think it would so powerful to see him lose his control and admit/show his feelings for her.

What scenes do you want to see?

Now that Violet has the crown, is Cat going to be super pissed at her or respect her. Or both.

At the end of Onyx storm, they used imbued runes as a collective shield for the city.

Why couldn’t they do that for other cities as well?

Hi, I had the following thoughts,/observation after reading the first three books. I am not tied to these, so I’m hoping you can respond and provide a different perspective.

In no particular order:

1. We learned that the wyverns and I thought venin all Share a collective conscience. If that’s the case, then didn’t everything that Xaden learned after he turned, would’ve been shared with all the dark wielders?
2. I really don’t understand why they wanted to keep Jack Barlow alive. Once they got the book from Tecarus about his observations on the dark wielders, what more could they have learned from Jack, it’s not like he was giving up information. It’s really confounds me.
3. I thought they killed Jack Barlow in the Ward Stone chamber, after he took it down. And then next thing I know he’s back in the interrogation/prison room?
4. I thought the pacing of the second book was off. And I thought the end seemed rushed/overly intense.
5. I don’t get the temple touched versus dedicated and gods themes. What does this add to the story? I did like how all the islands had their own specific theme/cultures.
6. I don’t get what the purpose of the books that her dad left for her. They just told her about the different islands. What is the significance?
7. I thought the end of the third book didn’t move the needle enough on getting rid of the dark wielders.
8. It seems to me in future books they will figure out a way to mass take out the dark wielders, because right now it takes approximately seven dragons/riders to kill one maven. Let alone sages and generals.
9. They made a big deal about Sawyer flying again, but he was absent from the last fight.
10. I was so confused when Violet kept pushing wanting to have sex with Xaden after he turned, when she knew that was the hardest for him to control channeling. That seemed very selfish of her.

P.S. Aaric is by far my favorite character. Love that kid. I think in the next two books rhat Violet/Xaden will make being an intrinsic, not a punishable offense.

Hi, there used to be a red dot on the speed odometer that showed what the current street speed limit is. After the software update, that red dot has gone away and now they show the speed limit in a sign next to the odometer.

Anyone figure out how to get the red dot back? I relied on it!
