Anyone else never capture anything at night?

We have the birdfy feeder pro 2. At night we get lots of moments recorded and 100% of the time it is a recording of nothing. the only night vision setting we have is the light, no infrared or anything. The light is on max but we don’t see anything. is this common? Why is it recording moments of nothing? I keep getting excited to see something at night finally and it’s always nothing at all

Looking for tips keeping ants away from the Birdfy Feeder 2 Pro

Hello everyone. I recently bought my girlfriend the birdfy feeder 2 pro but we’ve found that ants keep activating the camera. The most annoying part is that often the closeup camera will focus on ants instead of an actual bird. Our yard is mostly sand so we have a large amount of ants living in it. The feeder is wall mounted on a wooden pole that is part of our deck.

I found a few posts about ants but they are all about the hummingbird feeder. I don’t think the solar panel ant mote will do anything for the feeder 2 pro because the ants are crawling up the wooden pole and onto the feeder from the bottom. Has anyone come up with any clever solutions to get rid of ants on the feeder 2 pro? Thanks!
