Tips for managing headaches?

Husband (40) is going in for cycle 4 RCHOP Monday. This 3rd cycle has been….so not fun. Anyone experience recurring headaches (not severe but pretty much every day), and have any tips for managing without ibuprofen/tylenol (which he can’t take bc they might mask a fever). Thanks in advance ❤️

Update post-doctor’s appt: thank you everyone for your extremely helpful advice!!! We now have a plan for managing the headaches - confirmed they aren’t caused by anything serious, but could be tied to medication side effect and/or some mild anemia and not drinking fluids consistently enough. Doc has permitted Tylenol and wrote a script for something else he can take.

Any caregivers local to Pittsburgh?

Might be a long shot, but I’m looking to connect with other caregivers in Pittsburgh that are going through a similar experience. I’m 36 F, my husband is going through RCHOP now for lymphoma. Just got married recently. Honestly even a cup of coffee out with someone going through something similar would be a game-changer. It’s just not the same to vent with friends/family who aren’t going through it directly. My closest friends also live out of state. I’ve connected with local non-profits in the area, but haven’t had luck on this piece. Thanks for reading ❤️

Rant on insane driving

Absolutely stunned at some of the batshit insane driving I’ve witnessed in the past week alone. Tonight is just another example.

Was on 376 20 min ago, heading into the city, in the right lane, two cars in front of me (normal length apart), and about to enter the fort Pitt tunnel. To the right of us is the shoulder/berm. A car that had to be going at least 90?? passed us on the freaking RIGHT while driving in the shoulder, swerving left JUST IN TIME to get in the lane ahead of the second car in front of me. Their back wheels looked like they were going to spin out. Honest to god I thought I would be witnessing a fatal crash in real time if not involved in one. Was so in shock I didn’t catch make/model/plate or any of it but I sincerely hope they don’t crash or kill / injure someone with their recklessness. Ugh!!!!!!!

Truly hating the delays before starting treatment

Last week my fiancé (40M) was diagnosed with follicular lymphoma transformed into diffuse large B cell. Grade 3B. Diagnosis was made via surgical biopsy. It has been a months’ long ordeal - one groin node noticed in February, PCP first seen in February. Countless tests (bloodwork/chest xray normal, no symptoms except the lump and back stiffness that we don’t know is related or not) and doctor’s visits later, surgery was April 30. PET is scheduled for June 1. The waiting is honestly terrible. I’ve done my absolute BEST to get appointments moved up and get things going as fast as possible, but we are stuck in this waiting process. I can’t help but think the cancer has been getting worse all this time, since February! Ugh. Anyway. Thanks for listening.
