Trait choices

What are your favorite traits and races/racials for each class? I’d love to hear about all classes in general, along with any tips.

One in particular I’d like to know about is for rogue. I’m thinking about making one, but I’m not sure what trait to take. Right now I feel like taking magic resist to break cc or Strong for dps is the choice. Stacking the 50% strength buff of strong sounds really nice when stacked with the 100% dmg and 15% attack speed buff they also have. At the same time, I feel like being able to break cc will be a life saver. Thoughts?

Here is something fun I saw on the discord that wizards use: since they mostly only need Intelligence, they spend their other points on strength and get the strong trait. This allows them to carry more loot and they can pop the 50% strength bonus in order to gate while “encumbered”.

What does it mean (in terms of playstyle) when a class is “solo-able”?

So, when someone said a class is solo-able, I get that it means they can at least somewhat function on their own, even if it is less efficient than a group. What this doesn’t say is anything about *how* they solo. I’d love to have a class that is solo-able just so I have the option, even if I’d prefer a group mostly, but I absolutely hate having to kite. So if, for example, an archer could solo, I wouldn’t want to do that as they are dependent on kiting.

So, given this, what classes can solo, and what is the playstyle and/or limitations for those classes to make soloing work? I’m partial to martial classes, so if there is one that can solo by mostly just being tanky/sustainy and going toe-to-toe, that’d be ideal; this sounds like SK I think, but idk if the style is this or something else.

Thank you for the help!

Shadow Knight stats

I’ve seen two different schools of thought when getting stats for shadow knights. One is to go with sta > str > else; the other is to go dex > sta > else. What are the pros and cons of the two versions? I was thinking about making a shadow knight and I don’t know what to do. I want a character that I can tank with but also reasonably do some solo farming if I wanted. (I think I like paladin or inquisitor more in terms of theme, but heard they can’t really do stuff themselves).
