Great work by the broadcasters for showing all the beautiful visuals, instead of simply cutting away, they've been showing these beautiful aerial and ground level shots of Galle, the fort, the coastline and the people enjoying this wonderful game of test cricket on this beautiful island!!

Even watching on TV made me & bunch of friends appreciate those visuals sitting thousands of km away, the weather added a flavour to it as well!!

The controversy isn't just about one joke, since many years, his crowd work content has relied heavily on same repetitive vulgar, sexist, and misogynistic humor. This incident is simply a reflection of a larger problem, a mindset that normalizes the idea that spending money gives someone entitlement over a woman's body or attention. The issue isn't limited to this joke, but it reveals the mindset behind it.

And this mindset isn't limited to one comedian or his audience, many Indians are raised in a patriarchal society where such attitudes are often normalized. That's exactly why this behavior needs to be called out and challenged whenever it appears!! Thoughts!?
