I've used 2 different Arctis 7+ headphones for years as of now. And what I've noticed is that their mechanical volume wheels are extremely prone to being the first part to break-down. Of course; it doesn't happen in just a few months but when it happens, it only gets worse in time. First, while you're using the wheel, the sound is uneven between ears at certain levels. Second, it starts buzzing at those levels and then it completely cuts.

Therefore for anyone looking to get this headphone, I recommend avoiding the habit of using these wheels as your main volume adjuster. Use an external sound adjuster or just use your pc's sound mix. It's fine to use the wheel seldomly but don't make it a habit.
