Post surgery questions

I've had my strabismus surgery around 2 months ago and the eye looks normal now. But now my doctor has suggested me bynocs therapy to improve my vision and 'so that my brain can now adapt to both the eyes being centered'.

The therapy is priced on the higher side and I'm not even sure if it's just a money making gimmick or will it actually work. Anyone here joined such therapy and noticed an improvement?

USJ Express pass doubt

I'm thinking about purchasing the 7/8 rides express pass for USJ from Klook but am a bit confused with the timed entry in the SNW nad the time specific rides.

If I understand correctly, I'll be allowed to enter the SNW at 18:50 and can go on the rides using express lane during the designated times? Or does it just let me get into SNW during the designated times and I'll have to wait in the regular lines for the rides during the specified time?

Itinerary Review

I've finally received my Visa and am planning to visit in late October. Initially I only wanted to explore 1 city for the entire duration of my trip, but somehow multi city tickets were cheaper (including the bullet train ticket price) so I thought why not go to USJ as well.

I'd like to ask if I should spend entire day 4 in Tokyo, travel to Osaka on day 5 and shift USJ to day 6 or continue with the same itinerary. I made this itinerary based on my interests and YouTube videos.

I'd like any and all suggestions and thanks in advance :)

Itinerary check

I'm planning yo visit Japan for the first time on a solo trip as a 26M. I'm planning to travel for 7ish days in late October/early November. Based on my past trips/preferences, chatgpt gave me the following itinerary. (Earlier gave me itinerary that covered Kyoto, Osaka and Tokyo but I reduced it since it felt too tiring) I was confused between Disneyland and USJ and after some research I found out that USJ offers more 'thrill' rides so went ahead with USJ. Please suggest if for 6-7 days I shouldto Tokyo only or try to cover USJ and Osaka as well. I'm mainly interested in history, architecture and nature.

The itinerary is as follows-

Day 1 – Arrival in Tokyo

3:00 PM – Land at Haneda Airport

6:00 PM Hotel check-in

7:00 PM

Shibuya Scramble Crossing

Hachiko Statue

8:00 PM Dinner

9:00 PM Explore Shibuya before returning to hotel.

Day 2 – Historic Tokyo + Skyline

8:00 AM Breakfast

9:00–10:30 AM Tokyo Imperial Palace East Gardens

11:00 AM–12:30 PM Zojo-ji Temple

12:30 PM Lunch

2:00–4:00 PM Senso-ji Temple

Kaminarimon Gate

Nakamise Street

5:30–7:00 PM Shibuya Sky Observation Deck (book sunset slot)

7:00 PM Dinner

Day 3 – Shrines + Anime Tokyo

8:00 AM Breakfast

9:00–10:30 AM Meiji Jingu Shrine

10:45–12:00 PM Harajuku

12:00 PM Lunch

1:30–6:00 PM Akihabara

Animate

Jump Shop

Pokémon Center

Arcades

Kanda Myojin Shrine

7:00 PM Dinner

Day 4 – Mt. Fuji & Hakone Day Trip

7:00 AM Depart Tokyo

Visit:

Lake Kawaguchiko

Chureito Pagoda

Mt. Fuji viewpoints

Oshino Hakkai

Lunch

Return to Tokyo around 7:30 PM

Day 5 – Tokyo → Osaka

8:00 AM Breakfast

12:30 PM Arrive Osaka

2:00 PM Hotel check-in

3:00–5:00 PM Osaka Castle

6:00 PM onwards Dotonbori

Glico Sign

River walk

Street food (vegetarian options)

Day 6 – Universal Studios Japan

Arrive 45–60 minutes before opening.

Priority attractions:

Super Nintendo World

Mario Kart

Harry Potter

Flying Dinosaur

Jurassic Park

Minions

Spend the full day here.

Return to hotel around 8:00–9:00 PM.

Day 7 Depart for Home

I want to shop for watches/clothes and chocolates/souvenirs but chatgpt couldn't give out proper recommendations. I found online that Bic Camera is the place to go for watches and skincare and everything else. Please suggest any and all changes to my itinerary.

Thanks in advance.

How many days to spend in Japan

I'm confused between 5N6D or 6N7D.

I have 2 flight options to land in Tokyo -

  1. Lands at Tokyo Haneda at 3pm but is USD160 cheaper

  2. Lands at Tokyo Narita at 12:30pm

Return flight from Osaka in both cases at 9-10am.

I wish to cover Disney Land and Mt Fuji and am also interested in nature, history and architecture so I'm sure that I'll enjoy the Palaces and Shrines and Temples.

I'm also thinking about buying stationery souvenirs for my family and friends and anime/watch(es) for myself but don't know how much time will it take. Maybe 3-4hours at max since I've already decided the watches.

The main thing I'm confused about is that 1) do I spend an additional USD160 to get to Tokyo a few hours earlier or 2) spend an equivalent amount to add 1 day to my trip 3) go with the cheaper flight option and do a 5N6D trip. On one of my past trips (to Vietnam) I overestimated the things to do in Ho Chi Minh City and wasted 1 day doing nothing, so I don't want to do the same here.

Thanks in advance

Does Casio vintage collection scratch easily?

I'm looking to buy a A168WEMB-1BDF (black) model but the reviews online read that it scratches very easily. I'm a clumsy person and can imagine getting scratches on the watch on day 1.

So how bad is it? Also, after the scratches would a silver surface be visible beneath?

Double vision and improvement after surgery

I (26 years old) have squit eye (left eye needing correction) for as long as I can remember and finally I made up my mind to get it corrected through surgery. But I have a few doubts that I wanted to get answers to from people who've have the surgery.

  1. I can control and focus my eyes to look 'normal' (maybe for a minute or 2 max) but during that time I get double vision and soon I start getting headache. So is this normal even after surgery?

  2. I can see normally from both eyes individually but when I focus the eyes together I can't see far off objects clearly and they're very hazy. Did you guys experience something similar?

I consulted a reputed ophthalmologist in my city (who will conduct the surgery) and asked these doubts and she said 'Everything will be fine after your eyes recover in some time". I wasn't satisfied with the answer because she didn't even take a minute to think about it and answered instantly. I'm not sure if it's because of her experience or maybe she wasn't interested/paying attention to my questions then. So I found this community and wanted to get answers from someone who's going through the same issues.

I'm also very scared because I don't want double vision for the rest of my life (if I get the surgery) and I don't have anyone else who's had this experience.
