Which Olivia Rodrigo song do you like sonically, but not lyrically? And vice versa?

Sonically but not lyrically: My way

I feel that this song is completely held back by the lyrics. The “That’s it, I win” part is pretty cringe. And overall, I felt that the lyrics could’ve been way better.

Lyrically but not sonically: Bad idea, right

The lyrics are fine, nothing outstanding, but sonically, this song never grew on me.

Are there any updates on Ashley aka Bestdressed?

She left YouTube because of a stalker, which sucks. She was also receiving a decent amount of hate and criticism at the time, so I'm sure that contributed to her exit. I was recently watching one of her old videos, and in one of them, she mentioned that she was scared that people on YouTube would probably turn on her and wouldn't like her anymore, and this was back when she didn't have any controversies during the summer of 2019. Her last upload would be in late 2020, so I thought it was interesting how soon she called her own downfall.

I did read that she fell out with Mina Le (a YouTuber known for commentary) and Elena Taber (a travel YouTuber who is dating Jamie Campbell and has her own lore…). Mina went on to write a brief article about the fallout. She never actually named Ashley, but she was most definitely talking about her. From reading it, it does not seem that Ashley was a good friend or the most emotionally stable person. She always struck me as someone lonely and male-centered, especially with how much she talked about sex. Don't get me wrong, I think it was good of her to try to destigmatize the topic, but she really lost me when she showed her dirty sex toys in one of her YouTube videos.

She is somewhat active on Instagram and works with brands such as Gucci and Miumiu, which I'm sure pay well. She was definitely one of the more financially literate YouTubers and probably invested her money. Overall, I'm curious if there were any new updates on her? I do hope she is in a better place. Despite the constant sex jokes, I can tell that she meant well; she just really seemed to have some issues with herself (as most people do).

‘Off Campus’ Star Mika Abdalla and Jake Short Break Silence on Resurfaced Podcast Clip After Split

“We’ve seen a conversation around clips of us together when we were in a relationship, and people making harmful and inaccurate assumptions about our dynamic,” read the joint statement from Abdalla, 26, and Short, 29, about the resurfaced conversation from a 2024 episode of “The Sit and Chat” podcast. (In the video, Short made a joke in reference to Abdalla that some social media users have since dubbed controversial online.)

The former couple noted to Us that they “were in a loving, respectful relationship for five years” and “it’s hurtful to see playful moments dissected in a way that does not reflect the respect and love we had and still have for each other.”
